| First production XSR Superboat sea-trials |
After debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show, the first production XSR Superboathas been sea-trialling in the Solent before being delivered to its owner in Spring 2008.
Unlike the prototype, which launched in December 2006 as a racing boat, the production XSR has a fully fitted accommodation area with double berth, luxury sofas and multi-screen entertainment system.
The XSR Superboat has a fully enclosed cockpit that forms a composite structural safety cell made of carbon and glass. Shock absorbing seats with full harness restraint system provide a safe, comfortable experience.
The concept of developing the XSR Superboat with the inherent DNA of a Supercar was conceived by XSMG World and supported by some world class design partners including High Modulus. |
