The new XSR Interceptor, the world’s most technically advanced performance, pursuit and patrol vessel - dubbed by UK press as the ‘James Bond style boat’ - wowed the delegates at the DSEi Show at Excel in London.
Government defence department personnel from around the world were queuing to admire the new carbon fibre composite constructed boat. The technical specification was developed in association with top defence consultants QinetiQ to deliver a unique product, tailored to fit the latest and most advanced defence equipment on board to fulfil its purpose in countering piracy and defending coastlines and offshore property throughout the world.
It received a rapturous reception at the week-long exhibition and was considered the ‘star of the show’. Many of those who expressed a firm interest in procurement also had the chance to experience the exceptional performance of the boat at first hand on the Thames.
Ian Sanderson, founder and CEO of XSMG World said: “We are truly delighted at the positive reception to the new XSR Interceptor and its high profile status at what is the world’s most important defence show. Despite the confined space of the Excel’s Royal Victoria Dock we were able to demonstrate the incredible handling and performance of the new vessel. The enthusiastic feedback from both UK and foreign military and coastal defence professionals was overwhelming, and bodes well for future International orders.”
The XSR Interceptor, designed and built in the UK by XSMG World incorporates many innovative features, which will give military clients a significant, practical and measureable advantage over its competition. |
